HELIOS ImageServer DeviceN composite in-RIP printing support

HELIOS ImageServer 2.5 including all CD019 updates will offer complete composite PostScript 3 / DeviceN output of all OPI-replaced images which are optimized for in-RIP separation or PDF generation.
The new benefits are:
  • DCS-2 separated images including spot colors will be converted into composite high-res PostScript 3 / DeviceN images to be used for in-RIP separations or PDF generation.
  • TIFF or Photoshop CMYK images with additional spot colors will be converted into composite high-res PostScript 3 / DeviceN images to be used for in-RIP separations or PDF generation.
  • QuarkXPress foreground and background spot colorized grayscale images are converted into PostScript 3 / DeviceN to be used for in-RIP separation or PDF generation.
ImageServer 2.5 solves major composite printing problems with QuarkXPress.
All the features listed above can now be printed with the latest ImageServer 2.5 OPI printing features. There is no other solution available to print DCS-2, TIFF and Photoshop files with spot colors as a high-res composite PostScript 3 / DeviceN output to be compatible for in-RIP PostScript 3 separations or PDF generation.
PDF HandShake 2.1 already supports DeviceN output, for printing PDF files or printing PDF via OPI-replaced jobs.
