HELIOS UB tested successfully with Apple Xsan 1.4

One year ago, a HELIOS customer noticed a data corruption problem with Apple Xsan 1.2 (see HELIOS TechInfo 095). Apple fixed this problem in Xsan 1.3.
HELIOS has successfully tested the Xsan version 1.4 with HELIOS UB. We did not find any problems.

Our testing environment:

  • Apple Mac OS X Server 10.4.8 (PowerPC)
  • Apple Xsan 1.4 (Build 8M170) using an Apple XRAID
  • HELIOS UB with all updates installed
