Cumulus: Asset management solution
Digital Asset Management System for organizing and publishing any digital file such as images, layouts, presentations, video, audio or text. Cumulus supports online data (i.e. file systems) and offline data (i.e. CD-ROMs, etc.) Cumulus offers powerful search capabilities and access via native clients (Mac OS, Windows) as well as via the Internet. It reads metadata, is flexible and customizable, supports standards like OPI, EXIF, IPTC and it can also be expanded by adding Options.
Automatically synchronizes HELIOS EtherShare and PCShare volumes and Cumulus catalogs. Many users of HELIOS EtherShare and PCShare want to combine the power of Canto's Digital Asset Management system with HELIOS' fast, reliable file and print server and server-based image replacement solution. With the Cumulus HELIOS Companion users don't have to waste any more time cataloging files manually. The HELIOS Companion automatically synchronizes HELIOS volumes and Cumulus catalogs when users store new files or make changes to existing files in the HELIOS file system, thus maintaining a familiar user workflow and eliminating the need for manual cataloging. Plus, by using the optional Cumulus Web Publisher, cataloged assets can be dynamically published to the Web for customers to review or download.
