Info
OPI 1.3 and 2.0 allow for overprinting of bilevel and grayscale images. Overprinting used to work with host-based separations only, now it works with in-RIP separations, too. InDesign 2.0 uses this feature when printing in-RIP separations of grayscale images with attribute "Overprint Fill" enabled. Also fixed: - Folder naming option %u and OPI server option "Ignore additional channels for bitmap images" had no effect in OPI image replacement when printing separations. - Made priority of folder naming option %u and OPI server option "Ignore additional channels for bitmap images" higher than priority of "PostScript 3 / DeviceN Output" switch in printer queue OPI/ICC settings. This allows you to specify for each OPI image replacement individually if spot color channels are to be used or ignored when the "PostScript 3 / DeviceN Output" feature is enabled. - Printing EPSF documents to CreatePDF print queues resulted in wrong page sizes if the Document Structuring Convention (DSC) version of the EPSF document was different from 3.0. NOTE: Before installing this update, the update installer itself must be updated with one of the updates u0300-u0306. |
