Mac OS X 10.5.6 Upgrade Warning

We received several customer reports about failed server searches in EtherShare volumes after the Mac OS X 10.5.6 update was installed. It looks like a client problem where the AFP “FPCatSearch” feature is not being used from the client.
We reported this problem already to Apple.
We will update this Tech Info when new information is available.

Update 13 May 2009:

The server search problem is fixed in Mac OS X 10.5.7.
