Subject

PCShare connections without NetBIOS

Info

PCShare now accepts connections on both port 139 and port 445
(for SMB/CIFS connections without NetBIOS).
Also fixed:
- Volume access can now also be restricted to individual users
and not only to groups. This is done be setting the preference
Volumes/<UNIX dir>/Users
to a string list of user names.
- The Windows printer driver name is by default not sent anymore
to Windows clients to avoid problems with Windows Vista clients.
The boolean preference
Printers/<printer queue>/SendPrinterDriverName
can be set to "TRUE" to send the driver name to clients
(other than Windows Vista) for automatic printer setup.
- Faster volume access check with large number of groups per volume.
- Writing to the "Comment" stream could cause a pcshare core dump.
