2 Using the manual
Currentness
This manual covers all features of program version 2.1 as released on HELIOS CD 015.
As our products are subject to constant development, the descriptions and instructions given in this manual may not necessarily be applied to future versions of the software. If you install EtherShare OPI from a CD other than CD 015 or if you install any updates, please check the respective manual or the README files on your installation CD-ROM, or on the HELIOS Web site: http://www.helios.de.
README
These files on our CD-ROM should be read carefully because they communicate recent changes to the product and its installation that have not yet been included in the written documentation. On the server, e.g., the product specific README file can be opened from the "EtherShare OPI Installation Menu" (see Fig. 3 in chapter 4.3.2 "The installation procedure").
For full-scale information on our network software, you may also check the "readme.txt" file and the "manuals" directory on our product CD-ROM.
PDF manual
This manual is also available in PDF format and can be found in the "manuals" directory on our CD-ROM. To open and read the PDF file, you have to run the Acrobat Reader software which can be installed from our CD-ROM.
