1. World of HELIOS: Jive song makes Hannover prominent
19 year old Lena Meyer-Landrut from Hannover wins Eurovision Song Contest with “Satellite”, a plain and easy pop song. Without glossy or showy effects, Lena won over Europe with her voice, a lovely surprise. We would like to thank everyone for voting for Germany.

In a world of news reporting about economic crises, the oil spill in the gulf, and the Euro currency weakness – Lena brings some sunshine into the hearts of Europeans and people worldwide.
2. HELIOS & Quato Softproof Tour 2010
Our recent soft proof tour in Cologne, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt, presented the WebShare remote proofing solution, which was very well received. The live demo compared the WebShare soft proof on a Quato proofing monitor to both the actual print run, as well as to a printed proof in a viewing booth. It convinced all attendees. There is no doubt that our Fogra certified soft proof can replace the print proof, and is ready to be installed on your server for use by remote web clients.
We received additional feedback regarding proofing annotations, a color inspector, and a 100% original page presentation. We are already working on the development of these enhancements. In fact, a 100% page size is now already available via update u0855.
WebShare proofing can also quickly be integrated into custom Web applications either by opening the WebShare proofing Window or fetching the proofing image via a URL.

3. Reminder: Proofing bundle
Existing customers and new customers can now benefit from a valuable offer. Our proofing bundle (FB101) contains all modules that are required for remote proofing for up to 20 users. Since the bundle also comprises HELIOS ImageServer and PDF HandShake, it additionally offers server-based image processing, color management, and PDF workflow. Your HELIOS partner can provide you with more details.

4. It's Apple WWDC time
We will be attending Apple's World Wide Developers Conference next week in San Francisco to meet Apple developers and to learn about Mac and iPhone OS news.
